you can put normal tyres on, but youll have to sort out the tyre pressure/monitoring warning light on the dash
I have driven both on the runflats and normal PS2's and i couldnt tell any difference on the road, stepping out from one viper into another. Maybe on a trackday the differences would be more noticeable

Not true, there is no difference between the runflats and the replacement tyres for the pressure monitoring system.
The run flats are rubbish and the stock PS2's make a huge difference to the car stopping some if not most of the wheel hop that can kill the diff.
However the pressure system does remember your wheel position so make sure your tyre place either mark the location and return the wheel to the same position on the axle.
Make sure you tell them before you start that they do have sensors in the wheel, they will then be more careful, also check the rims before they start, on my SRT they damaged one of the wheels then tried to tell me they were damaged already, with it sitting in the machine.
If/should the low pressure light come on it can only be reset by a Chrysler dealer with a DRB II after which it needs to make about a 1/4 mile of revolutions above 20 mph for the sensor to be registered.
Due to the age of the car you may want to replace the sensors with the tyres they have a 5-7 years life, but they only switch to active when the car has performed the distance above.
Hope this helps but any further problems PM me a number and I will give you a call.

is a percentage of that feeling though because youve replaced hard, old, worn out tyres for a brand new set and havent driven the viper on a new set for a while. I remember when swapping the old michelins on the RT for an identical new set of michelins and had the geometry reset at the same time, the car came of the garage out feeling like a totally different vehicle, same with the GTS
