So let me get this right... You post in December 2009 that you have a fault with your Braking system...

Dave (V10BAT) offered to take a look at it... I take it that didn't happen?
In March 2010 it goes in for a service...

I take it it wasn't looked at at that point either?
Essentially, you have been driving the car for almost a year with a fault in your Braking system, and now it's up for sale you again ask for help to sort it out... I am a little lost for words to be honest. Personally I don't think I would have driven it until I had something like that sorted.
I see Dave (V10BAT) has offered assistance again, might be worth getting over to see him.

Good luck getting it fixed though

The braking circuit could well be perfectly fine, ABS fully functional and safe (should not pass MOT with ABS light set!). I take it the ABS fuse is good? If at any point the ignition was on (engine didn't have to be running) if any of the electrics of the ABS circuits was disconnected it would set the ABS light. The only way you can clear this light is with the dealer DRB tool (battery disconnect, code reader resets etc, all the other tricks will not help you, so don't waste time chasing these!). I can not understand how the airbag module would need changing to help (but I'm open to the education?). The ABS is a separate module and operates through a complex can-bus communication (so you cant/don't just run a supply or earth to it either to 'talk to it') its a 10 min job at a recommended Chrysler dealership, to check cycle and reset. Feel free to PM me to my email if you want further help (I don't get time to frequent the forums here on a daily basis).
