What can we tell you? Not 'why', that's for sure...
This bizarre 'ViperVette' has been cropping up all over the internet, after being listed for sale on the Hemmings classified website in the US.
Which leads us to wonder what other 'Frankenstein monsters' might be lurking out there, so feel free to add examples of your own to the thread below.
Or perhaps you can only spare the time for a disparaging shake of the head as we share what little info the ViperVette advert has to offer...
Apparently the car combines a 1986 Corvette chassis, engine and dash, with a 2000 vintage Viper body - leaving the result slightly under-cylindered, if not necessarily (but probably) under-powered, with its 5.7 litre Chevy V8.
The interior has been cobbled together with a set of Corvette seats trimmed in Viper colours, and the whole plot is for sale at the not too extravagant price of $12,250.
God only know's why anyone would bother...!???This bizarre 'ViperVette' has been cropping up all over the internet, after being listed for sale on the Hemmings classified website in the US.
