viper gearboxes

I have a viper comp coupe box for sale which i got off carl (gts) and a potential buyer wants to know if it will fit a 96 gts. Am i correct in thinking that all viper gearboxes bar the newer tr6060 boxes are interchangable, so a comp coupe box will work in a 96 gts.

If the box is comp coupe or gen 3 viper, it will not have an internal speed sensor.

But will a comp coupe box fit a 96 gts? Sorry im not clued up as with the gen1,2,3 etc
