Drag racing finals at the Pod...........8000 hp on nitro

Thought I'd just put up a quick post about the FIA Drag Race Eurofinals at Santa Pod Friday 10th Sept through Sunday 12th Sept. I've been twice before and its really an experience everyone should have at least once.....to stand next to an 8000 hp top fueller when it starts up, or at the finish line as it crosses at over 300mph.....priceless. Its a well organised event with teams from all over Europe, with open pit access for wandering about and watching the motors being dismantled and rebuilt between runs. I'm planning on being there so if any one else is interested its a good place to meet up (and lots of ice creamb stands for Neil

we are going on wednesday evening the weekend ticket covers you from thursday morning through to sunday, some of the best racing is done thur/fri as it's the eliminations last year we saw andy baker take his top fuel car to 320mph on thursday .hopefully see some of you there,Andrew and Jenny
