Hi,
How often are the servicing intervals on a viper (are parts readily available), and the cost of servicing (average).
Anyone here ever owned a zo6 and viper, and if so which is the easiest to live with.
Also how well do vipers handle compared to a vette, and what would be considered high mileage for a viper.
I am asking as i notice vipers all be it older ones are in my price bracket now.
thx

Hello and welcome.
The Viper service intervals are different detween years however due to the low mileage most of them do little has to be done.
I always do oil and filter at the start of the year loads of Mobile 1 and a filter, then check gear box oil and diff.
Check brakes they take a bit of a hammering on the track but last ages on the road (unless you drive on the road like the track) If you do some trackwork try red EBC's on the front and green on the rear.
Every three years I do the plugs.
I also burp system and check the overflow bottle.
If you don't want to do it yourself then most Jeep dealers, cost £220 to £340 depending on how much you get ripped off.
Give me a call if you have a problem. 07802 633743
