Is it me or from 2nd to 3rd it's a right bugger and I'm still struggling to get it right. Lol when it goes in nice it's like silk but if it's a fraction out it takes ages to get in gear. Lol I now it's me but does anyone else have this problem then. Lol

Usual T56 stuff, if you let it rev more in first you will find it easier. Seems not to like low rpm shifts as much.

Lol, if you continue having problems you could always like change to an aftermarket shifter Lol, which will help to increase the feel, shorten the throw, and get better spring return to the centre it's well worth upgrading the shifter to a B&M Short Shifter, or the Hurst version which is available from Chuck.

Here's the installation instructions for future reference:

It can be a pain sometimes, I also find its how you hold the shifter wink

If you place your open hand on top of the shifter, then tilt your hand down towards you (thumb down) and grasp the shift knob it helps. I find you have to palm the shifter over towards the passenger side, this is also essential when shifting from 3rd to 4th! (there have been many vipers written off from people thinking they were selecting 4th to quickly lift up the clutch pedal and find themselves back in 2nd) yikes the wheels lock up and you find yourself spinning off road! (I've almost done it!)
Hope that helps thumbup

PS the other thing that can be helpful is changing out the transmission mounts and Engine mounts to new Woodhouse Polly mounts wink
