Changing the Brake Fluid
Discussion
Hi Guys
I'm embarrased to say that I've had my 1997 GTS for nearly 5 years now and still haven't changed the brake fluid. I was planning on doing it this weekend as I'm doing a track day at Brands Hatch GP next month but was disappointed that my cheap and cheerful Gunson pressurised bleeder won't seal on the brake fluid reservoir. Does anyone know of a pressurised system that will fit a Viper that doesn't involve an airline or does everyone do it the old fashioned way by pumping the brake pedal?
All advice gratefully received
Harry

5 yrs? Shame on you!
At least you're doin sumit about it - I learnt the hard way and boiled the brakes after 5 mins of being on the track.
Mark's right, good old pump the brake pedal works fine but if you're into you're gadgets and wanna pump/suck fluid, in try a Mityvac hand vacuum/pump kit, if cheap, effective and cheerful's what you want.
