Always looking at Vipers, spotted this. Maybe when I upgrade my 1999, this is the sort of car I will go for.........

Whist I'd love an ACRX its going to be pretty useless to me without a registration and tax disk so i think I'll make do with a bog'o standard ACR, just got to figure out a way to get myself one across the pond at a price i can afford! Unfortunately had a few big bills lately.

Yep, mods add no value. You dont know how good the install and finish is. Plus bespoke parts and maintenance etc.
Still definately value for money!

I think it depends on what you want from a Viper, you may get a cheap one but the mileage could be very high, (not that that's really a problem) but it may have a salvage title against it, (again, if there is full photo documentation and details of who carried out the repair), this will help when you come to sell the car on smile When you consider these cars are capable of high speed, I would want to make sure the car did not have any previous repairs done to it! There are a lot of dishonest people out there selling cars so be very careful. Some mods DO add value to the car, I'm not saying you will necessary get the full price you paid for the extras but you will certainly get more than a stock car.

Yeah, carfax is a godsend.
I think Im working up to a gen4 coupe.. Decided a Z06 is too boring and a Gen3 too slow & hot, but look pretty much the same (except bonnet)

Might just wait till Jan 2011, hopefully mid winter and post xmas blues are in full swing by then. Plus the model will be another year older. With any luck the dollar is in the dumps at the time as well.
