It's a one of a kind helmet made by 'Louis Vuitton' for Joel, it has a built in sensor which reacts if your head starts to fall in any given direction other than upright. Due to the amount of time required for the rider to stay on his/her mount during Eventing and Dressage Riding, the helmet was designed to deliver a strong bolt of electricity direct to the skull of the wearer should they begin to fall asleep... For the average man the electrical bolt delivered to the head would be more than most could handle, however in Joel's case, due to be the Electric Shock Therapy he has been subjected to over the years in order to assist with curing him of his constant need to stop for a pee when out in the car, the current is significantly higher for him due to having been conditioned to it over a long period of time... Something which would almost kill you or I just feels like a tickle in his brain, has a similar effect to viagra, and makes him think he can smell onions cooking... Apparently it's more than slightly confusing.
