A late Gen 2 stock exhaust headers, each year I get trouble getting through the MOT it always fails on Lamba, ie a leak, the Roe parts when received were badly assembled and I suspect the B&B headers may well be the problem as they have a 5 part collector.
Plus it would be nice to put it back to near stock and leave it with the B&B catback.

Hi Paul... Yep, set of headers in the garage, yours if you want them.
Must add... They are 1997 GenII Headers, so the cast type, looks like you are after the tubular later style.
I am having the same problem with mine, but the change to Belangers was definitely not the problem. The CO and Lamda were both high, but new O2 sensors & spark plugs sorted out the CO, and the Lamda was Ok once the engine was hot enough.

Each year I have exactly the same issue, always the Lambda and nothing else so I suspect a leak somewhere (plus I can hear ticking which would indicate an exhaust leak). Its interesting you wish to revert to stock as I had figured the best way to resolve it was to replace it with after market. Seems that won't be the resolution I was looking for!
