Yes, I must visit when I pass throught next, I only found out about this wonderful museum a couple of months ago and was maddened to find out that Mulhouse is the city/town we stop off at every year on our way to our sking resort! I had hoped to visit next feb but due to a family wedding were going to Zermatt so won't be going via Mulhouse.....Would love to see the pics , have a safe journey home.Edited by viper paul on Monday 26th July 20:31
Ive got over 1200 photos to sort through but here's 3. Fantastic trip. Did 2300 miles, filled the car up more times than I care to remember but it was soo worth it. Third time Ive been to the Alps now and I love it everytime. If you love driving your cars then this is something you really must do in your lifetime.
Stelvio (the straight side)
Fluelapass
Who's car's this then? Still clean here
Was a very clear day for you Graham. Was sunny and 26 at the bottom of the Stelvio when we set off. It was busier than I would have liked. At the top it was 4 deg and snowing. I got a couple of shots of the road before the cloud moved in and covered everything. We quickly continued down th eother side.
The Fluelapass was fantastic. Up to then my favourite (and worst) was the Furkapass. I drove the Fluelpass 4 times in the end. Passenger sickness became a problem. Hell after the 3rd time I even felt a bit odd!! Lost count of all the passes we drove but they were all good in their own way. The Fluelapass stood out because of the unusual lanscape
