Hi All,

Well have not driven the 97 GTS for a while and have found that the rear brake caliper pistons have seized and I cannot use my handbrake.

I have attempted to release the pistons but they are solid.

Does anyone have a pair of rear calipers that they want to sell?

Any assistance gratefully received.

You're in luck Phil, I have a pair I took off my car a couple of months ago when I did my Stoptech upgrade.

Have you tried winding the piston back in?

I'm up at Mercedes Benz World at Brooklands on Thursday so could bring them with me as it's not too far from you?

I might be driving to Worcester on Thursday which would take me almost past MB World so could drop in and collect and drop off on the way home if need be?

All thanks for the offers of help.....you are all very kind and it underlines what a great club this is.

I would especially like to thank Ade and Dave for providing me with replacement calipers, they are on the car and the handbrake is operational.....now for the MOT this week!

Once again thanks to all for your support and hopefully see you at a future club event.
