Stop techs are good or you could go with a rear upgrade with Toms 40mm ..
Or Daves big Brakes using SRT calipers (N-GTS Nadine has a set for sale) and get the install kit from Mark at http://www.ipsco.org/Viper.htm, You will need a prop valve with this kit though..

JonB Partsrack was doing a special deal on the Stoptech Big Brake Kit for VCA Members earlier in the year, But what with the £ / $ CRASH at the moment it might cost you a few bucks more!!!

There are other options. At the AutoSport show I was speaking to the guys at Hi Spec, they manufacture their own brake systems and calipers, they wanted me to get my car over to them so they could look over the existing set up and come up with something better smile

To be honest, I'm pleased with my brakes now but if I were to be doing a lot more track days I might consider yet more upgrades, but it all comes down to budget!

Hi Paul,

I have jus fitted a Stoptech 4 wheel big brake upgrade to my 97, got them from a company based in Surrey, I can put you in contact with them if you like? The guy there said he was happy to help if anyone else in the club was looking for a set... I had, what I am told was, the last kit to fit under 17" wheels but that will certainly not be a problem for you, there are various Stoptech options which are available to you, drop me a PM and I will send you some PDF's of the installation details and Stoptech Catalogues.

YOu will also need to consider your options regarding replacement of your parking brake as the only other option is re-use your old rear caliper for this... But it will look crap with the new upgrade, so worth considering buying the IPSCO.org parking brake calipers for the correct size rotors.

If I can be of help drop me a PM with your phone number and I'll give you a buzz.

All the best
Dave

thanks Dave for the call,i think buying those SRT calipers will be the cheapest option, ive found some 330mm slotted/dimpled discs on eclipse racing uk at £222 each with free delivery....sounds ok?,ive asked Bjorn how much he wants for his SRT discs too

SRT discs are about £110 each off Chrysler, and the front pads are about $250 off Chuck

Got to echo what Neil has said there... No need to be a Guineapig with a random company when some big name brands already do tried and tested set ups. As we discussed, the Stoptech kit is a fully balanced kit, the SRT kit you will need a Proportioning valve for due to not having ABS. Speak to Baz regarding the Big Brake brackets if you decide to go down the SRT route.

Regarding the discs/rotors, again there are several manufacturers that make some good SRT rotors, including Eurotec & EBC. Or as Neil mentioned above, just go with stock rotors from Chrysler.
