3 Vipers in Cheddar

Went to a PH meet the week end at Cheddar, check out the yellows from the airel pic, they really stand out! Nice to meet Les and his RT10, was pulling out a petrol station when along came another Viper! Pics are on PH south west forum.

I had been invited down for this but was too busy to attend, but having heard about a couple of 'incidents' which occurred I'm glad I wasn't there.

Some of these 'Organised Via PH' meetings are becoming a victim of their own success unfortunately, I am told that this event will not be happening again due to now being banned from the Gorge, seems a shame, but unfortunately the un-invited will inevitably turn up to these kind of things and potentially end up spoiling it for everyone else.

I noticed on the PH events list that a Sunday Service to UK Volkswagen HQ had to be cancelled recently as when it was posted up there was a sudden influx of VW owners from other forums joining up to PH purely to get on the list, the numbers went through the roof with VW's and the idea had to be scrapped.

Great pics. We really like that area and thought about it ourselves ages ago and then completely forgot about it as you do.
It's a shame about PH it really has done too well in many ways

i had to let a YELLOW Viper out of the petrol station LOL .... MAY OF THOUGHT TWICE IF IT WAS ANY OTHER COLOUR....LOL

was a real good day , and nice to finally meet some viper owners Pete and Mike ,

My first pistonheads meet , and the last in the gorge , by the sound of it !!!

weather was superb , car went a dream , and a good look at, a lot of stunning cars .......... a perfect day !!!!!!!

Enjoyed meeting you Les and chasing Mike, Nad, Bjorn and co. in the Tiger. Poor performers though...on the noise front...Tigger's previous 119db wouldn't have even been on the top 5 list last sunday, won by 126db Vette (needs to be corrected
...think the testing was part of the reason for the ban, despite it happening during the last few years' meets.
