Well I am just about to book my room at for Mendig and could anyone who is coming confirms, I will be more than happy to book a room for them, I also have had another note from Eddie :-

How are you?
I just contact you in order to know if there are some news and maybe already some registrations from your side for our forthcoming event.
Benny from Sweden registered yesterday 5 cars for this event. And Benny asked me, whether it would be possible to go with you to Nürburgring on Sunday or Monday after our event. The reason is if the Swedish drivers come to Germany, then they would like to stay a few days for a short holiday here.
I am not sure if Werner and I have already mentioned this before, but also other Muscle Cars can attend this event. So when there are other people from UK ,you know well and whose cars have enough Horse Power to be measured with ours , interested in this event, are also very welcome to come with and attend the event.
But I also hope that YOUR club will be present with as many cars as possible.
We have also invited other clubs from Frankfurt and Switzerland and wait now for their registrations.
We have also engaged a team with professional time measurement, in all three categories , because last time the measurements with the flag and stopwatch were not precise enough.
So everyone will get a transponder on the lane.
And no cheating and only fair results would be possible.
It would cost us a bit more but "to have a great day" is our aim, and we would like to repeat it every 2 years.
Perhaps you could activate some people or invite other good English cars to attend the car event.

According to the Nurburgring Events Calendar the FIA GT1 Championships are on at the Nurburgring over that weekend between 27th & 29th August, it doesn't state which circuit is being used unlike other events, (Just states Nurburgring) which may mean that the whole thing is being used, I have seen video of the GT Champ cars racing on both the F1 Circuit and the Nordeschleife as one large circuit, so it is quite possible.
