Does anyone know of any track-day venues without noise limits?

Most of the organizers I've spoken too so far, except one, have a noise limit of just over 100dB.

Are there any other venues out their that don't mind a bit of excess-noise? ears

I would like to know how Formula 1 gets away with it, If you have ever been near one of them things as they go round the circuit it hurts your ears woohoo

I did go to a TRAX meet a couple of years ago, Just put the Viper straight on the track, F1 circuit Silverstone. No DB readings as far as I remember were asked for smile

i went to a few with Nad and Bjorn no noise limit days a few years ago with the compe coupe and GTS http://www.goldtrack.co.uk/

great days, very well organised events, nice mix of decent cars but now seems 105Db limit is enforced (which is still better than most other trackdays ive seen)

the only thing is they arent what id call novice days, they split all the cars into x2 groups, expect to see full prepped race teams testing their cars

you may be better off using a different car and going on a couple of novice events at Bedford Autodrome first, went there last year with Joel, beleive me having been to quite a few tracks in the UK thats deffo the place to go and learn

no noise limits at Avon Park and Santapod smile
