Anyone know of the best place to try for insurance, I am with Flux at the moment and am surprised by their quote.

Thanks

Quite a few of us are with Competition Car Insurance at the moment as they are extremely competitive and have a solid underwriter (Aviva - Formerly Norwich Union) which have a very good claims department.

Just been quoted today £308 for my GTS by Stevenage Insurance Services - 3k miles pa. £450 excess. Seems like a good deal. 01438313251

Hello Chaps, Do any of you have any other suggestions for good ins. co. Started to look around now for the SRT10.

Will try the above as well.

Thanks in advance.

P.S Also found AF vvvvvvv expensive and unrealistic (not only for us but also on another case for a mustang)

I have given up on A Flux after 7 years with them, they will not insure without a tracker being fitted which pushes them way over the top price wise, plus they transfer calls which are not answered, they used to be top notch a great shame, any one else experienced this with them?

I found Hagerty to be very good and I have an agreed value policy with them and no requirement for silly alarms.

Good call Pete they just quoted me £348 which is a good tank of fuel less than my current renewal quote

I went with SIS too, they were about £100 cheaper that competition car insurance and that included 5k mileage instead of 3k!

We used to be with flux as well. No longer as too expensive. Nice glossy mag each year though. Guess that's what ya paying for
