power steering pulley

[10 CYL]

I have sold my 97 GTS and always do my best to ensure any car I own is right before the new owner collects.
I bought an ally power steering pulley a couple of years ago and decided to replace the plastic type pulley.Is it sufficient for this to be a pressed on fit only, or is it necessary to insert a bolt & washer on the end of the shaft.
