Firstly, an enormous thanks to Sam and Shelby for letting me borrow the Doc for the weekend for some serious surgery, and for the food, drinks and bed for the night... And secondly, a HUGE thanks to Dr-Bob for all his help this weekend... It was a long, and extremely tiring weekend for both of us, but we got it all done.

To end all the speculation, no, no turbo, or supercharger... Maybe one day... wink

I will take some better pics at some point once I have had a chance to give the car a proper clean, but here is a couple of shots of the work in progress, (I know Baz has several more)

Added: Stoptech 4 wheel Big Brake Kit, Stainless Steel Lines, IPS Parking Brakes, Belanger Headers and Carbon Fibre Side Splitters...

Front:

Rear:

Headers:

No shots of the splitters or wheels on as yet, need to give everything a flaming good clean up following driving up in the rain on Saturday morning.

First impressions following the drive home late last night... AWESOME on all counts!!! Better Sound, MUCH better Braking, More Power, All Good!

Thanks again Baz!!! Had a great weekend! thumbup

You'd understand if you'd seen the state of the roads on the way up on saturday morning... Hideous weather doesn't cover it! Nice & Dry on the way home though, which was good

With the Belangers and a brake upgrade, there's not much more to do is there ? Other than supercharger !

Is the rest of the exhaust changed ? Cats, etc ?

Yep, everything else on that front is already done, Randomtech Highflow Cats & Corsa Cat-back exhaust... There are a few more little tweeks I have in mind, such as Roller rockers, but I guess you are right, the next major step, should I decide to do it is Supercharger... We will see...

I always liked the sound of the Randomtechs & Corsa before we did the headers, but with the Belangers it sounded absolutely phenomenal going under a couple of Motorway Bridges on my way home on Sunday night... Absolutely love it!

Shall I bring my Db meter?

Interesting news article. Exactly how they are going to get you to court for a 'noisy' exhaust is beyond me when there is no legal noise limit. As I understand it it is only against the law to tamper with an exhaust system to make it louder, ie removing sound absorbing material from a silencer

the Db limit dropped last year for a SVA/IVA down to 100 now i think, so there is a limit as such. Euro vipers had to be quitened down a bit over their US brothers to acheive euro noise regulations, so they could be sold through the dealership network

noise regulations stop you driving a lot of track days
