I dont know if anyone is interested or anyone can get oil cheaper but Costco are selling fully synthetic Mobil 1 for £19.99+vat for 4ltrs X 2 £47 per oil change inc vat.
Spoke to Pete(ZS) and he says its a really good price.

yep thats the normal price for cosco i got some for fatboy a few month's back , tis cheep biggrin

it was even factory spec for the SRT, but not quite right for a stock gen1 and 2?

Been getting it there for a while now...
Shame they dont do other grades..

Halfords now stock the Gen1 & Gen2 factory fill...

That's what i do, only allowed 100ml in the carry on. 10L in the checked no probs

buy it in 1qt bottles, double bag each one then pack them in a shoe box (we always have plenty of them for some reason) never had one even leak let alone burst, even if it did it would be fairly contained, more chance of breaking glass bottles of wine and i have checked a few of those in my time too.

i remember going on a work trip with a colleague who took a big bottle of ribena in his suitcase, he wasnt so lucky smile

mobil1 10/40 in 1 litre bottles are even of sale at my local tesco express

How much for though? I saw Castrol Edge in a Tesco Extra and it was £18.95 PER litre. yikes

thats cheap but you need a card to get in that place dont you,anyone got a card for the costco in Brum?

the costco Mobil 1 has always been 10W 40 Paul

ive just been driving round trying to get some 10/30 fully synthetic,its like gold dust,it would be easier getting a blowjob off a nun!biggrin,
ive never had this much trouble getting oil for a car,i shouldve got the yank to fill the damn boot full of oil and filters when i had it shipped over,
just found some lucas oil on ebay at £28.95 for 5 litres plus £9.95 post but may just let Andy at the garage get the oil seeing as the car is on the ramp ready

my lounge a few years ago smile
£20 (x10 quarts) per oil change, brought in the UK as well !

the costco Mobil 1 has always been 10W 40 Paul
The oil in Costco they sell by me is 0W-40 Mobil 1 fully synthetic, as for a card i have a friend who has one, but i believe anyone can get a card its about £30 a year. I dont need to join or go there often as i have a Makro card which sells very similar stuff except the oil.

costco is £20 per year, you need to have a business to open an account, just like macro
