That bodes well for our BTR set up now were dropped on road legal race Kuhmo,s!Joel.....if your not running NOS with your paxton (me thinks you might be!)then were gonna be kissing our butts (maybe not the wife,s)....Looks like ...A.Lots of Viper drivers having a case of too much power this year.B.Lots of very scared Corvette owners!(but i know one that won,t be bricking it!!!!).

So you've got a BTR supercharger then, venom?
I'd say not enough power...lol. Partly because we aren't even scraping the Viper's potential, and because there seems to be a lot of projects happening on the other boards - some improving on the 9's times that certain cars got last year.
What times do you expect to run, venom? I know 9's, but high or low 9's.

Oh, and venom500 (and those with big power), what mods are you going to do to attain traction from launch? I hate seeing cars that are capable of 10s+ scrape 13s because of the traction issue.

And which Vette owner is not bricking it, then? The most powerful Vette here and going to TOTB3 is ZR1427's - any others?

Tom, I promise I wont kiss your butt, no matter what happens , but the Skunk might have to show you his, although it looks like he might have his work cut out....I think traction is going to be a big problem for many of us

just been reading about a guy running NOS with slicks, who had a half shaft failure, bits of shrapnel went everywhere and shot a hole through his rim and tyre at speed, scary stuff

I,d don,t think we will get anywhere near the 9,s the best i think will be mid 10,s as we are on road tyres(don,t want to run slicks as other nasty things start to happen....Neil),we are using a sort of launch control to help feed in the power so i hope not to be spinning the wheel s to much(now sitting on comp/road legal Khumos).Will be running with "just" the NOS for the early part of the year,this should give us around 660bhp and well see what times we get and what everyone else is up to(Joel!)and then turn on the "other" wick once i,m happy with oue times and the cars set up.Would be nice to see low 11,s to high 10,s but only time will tell!
