It's been below freezing in Aberdeenshire since Dec 19th, down to -18C (but forecast to be below -20C by the end of the week!) and there's 45cm of snow outsite my house with more coming. I need to get the car to Inverness (across the hills!) to get the hood finished but am I ever going to be able to drive the Viper again? Seriously though, the long term forecast is for at least 2 more weeks of this!!

I am old enough to remember 1962 when the temperature fell below freezing on 15th December and did not rise above freezing until early March so you might have some way to go yet. grumpy

But I need to get the hood the 100 miles to Inverness? There's not many vehicles it'll fit inside. Plus, we had major problems before trying to re-shape the hood without having the rest of the car as a template. The 'eccentricities' of the Viper build mean than shimming, moulding etc are required to get the hood to fit properly.

The last glaciation lasted at least 60,000 years though...

The journey from Inverness got it dirty and it wasn't really car washing weather at the time. It needs some general TLC once all the bodywork repair is done.
