turned the car over today for the first time in weeks, thought id go a step further in trying to keep that new car smell so off i went to B&Q and bought a humidity absorber, anyone use these ?

I have a dehumidifier in the garage but thats only mostly because otherwise it would be lying around in the house ;-) I tend to use it after washing the car. Its off at the moment as the temp is outside its operating range...

I too have a dehumidifier in the garage, it runs almost 24/7 Purchased from a company that advertises in Classic and Sports Car magazine thumbup

bags of silica gel under the seats,

bags of silica ? where do you get them from? knew i should of asked how you go about this...... oh and ill try disconnect battery tomorrow, is there anything i should know before i do? like no surprise when i connect? and Derrick said cheers for info, reckons shadow might be able to get hold of one also

bags of silica came from several electrical items tv`s etc
shipped inside to keep moisture out of item.
Dave`s right optimate,would mean running a lead outside to the car though.
