MAKING MY 94 LOOK YOUNGER
Discussion
I was thinking of modifying my 94 RT to look like a newer model, bonnet, nose cone, wheels, side sills, dash.
What are your ideas on originality verses new look?
Has anybody got a nose cone or smooth side sills, even damaged, that I could borrow to take moulds off, I could make them replacement parts free in return.

I use fire reisitant resin for my sills, so in theory they shouldn't go on fire. You can make the fibreglass as thick or thin as you like, so fitting shouldn't be a problem.
On both my replicas, I had no problems with the fibreglass, the silencers were in the side sills (but no cats) and they were not wrapped. May be different with the cats, but if you use high flow cats there should be less heat.

OK, so if I wws to go for Hi-flo cats, what you are basically saying is that with GRP sill, heat should not be a problem?
Any idea of what is involved in fitting a set of Hi-flo cats, and how much do they cost (via Jon B I presume)?????
Also, to make the hi-flo cats effective, are there any other bolt-ons that should be fitted at the same time to make the hi-flo cats (more) effective?
Reccomendations welcome please.......

Jon B will advise you on the high flow cats, that's where most of us have bought them from, you need a pair that can 'process' 488 cu in to meet required emmisions! OE pair will need cutting off, and usualy weld them in or you can clamp, just fit them into the sill section where the OE ones were, they are shorter than OE so you've plenty of room to make pipe sections to fit them in. The cat itself is efficent nothing can enhance them (if they're not don't buy them)!
