just wondering whats the fastest viper in the Uk,talking 1/4 mile and trap speed.

Can only speak for our small club, the top few times were taken at Elvington and nearly everyone agrees the speed at the 1/4 was out on the day.

For flat out speed it would be Nads and our car at the moment,Hennessey quote 194 mph for the Venom and Nads car without a wing and all the other stuff in the boot! should be good for around the 200mph mark but we would need a very long straight to keep the cars in 6th gear long enough to pull the car to this speed.The times at Elvington were just over a standing mile but even 178/178.8 for NAD,s and Our car were creditable times as the temps that day were very high and kept speeds down(5-10mph)and also a slight head wind.But a Pagini Zonda S was timed at 178 also for a standing mile and the new Lambo 172 so not a bad effort from our almost standard cars.The 1/4 mile times were out on one lane but spot on for the other.Nad,s 11.6 run was fantastic but sadly were not to sure about the terminal speed.Our second best run of the day netted a time of 12.16 and a speed of 127mph against our best time of 12.15 and a incorect speed of 111mph.I,m sure this is out as i can compare other times this year like at Avon Park when my best time was only 13.4!PANTS SURFACE! but still managed a terminal speed of 118mph.Next year I think the times will we much better as several Viper owners are building 700+ bhp engines etc.As for us just a decent set of rubber should pop us into the 11,s as we ran 5 year old nacked tyres this year!Big mistake as Hennessey quote 11.8 for this cars spec.I just hope it doesn,t rain next year as the Skylines will make it a total walkover!(If i,m a bit of the mark with your car Nad please feel free to correct me.)
