Viper Coupe for Sale

I don't know about you, but my pet irritation is sites like this that don't put prices or a guide price on. It always smacks of "Give us a ring and we'll see how much we can screw out of you". I'll certainly never ring anyone who doesn't put a price in the ad.
I liked the 1969 Porsche 917 but it would be a nuisance to park at sainsbury's.
But the one I liked best was this little cracker:

It is a shame the CC isn't street legal, and semi-pro or pro racing credentials to own one (but then that means that we will only see this car pushed on the track to its awesome limits by competent drivers). I suppose it is good that this car isn't street legalbecause a street legal car would mean compromises - stringent US laws on crash safety and emissions would compromise such a great car, and effect its performance, and at least we won't see little kids driving the car because of the justified cost and the fact that they won't be a racing driver (plenty of kids in the US drive Vipers, Camaros etc as their first car because of their wealthy background).
Ah well. I hope Dodge make the GTS-R concept that is on this website, or even a street legal CC (but then it will suffer from the afforementioned compromises).
This car would also beat the Porsche and Ferrari's equivalents - 911 GT3-RS and Stradale Challenge - but then those cars ARE street legal so they have to meet laws by compromise, which effects their performance, and their race cars for the track AND road. Even if they weren't street legal, I'd still take the CC.
