Well bonnet is off and the engine is stripped down to the block ,Quite big pistons aren't they.....
Taking the Heads upto Peter Knight on wednesday

Baz,

Not sure if you noticed but you seem to have an extra cylinder each side

I am sure that bloke on our stand at last years NEC told me yours was the V8 version

Think he said RTs had V8s and the GTSs had the V10....

Well the side covers are now off as is the exhaust and headers (new headers to go on, to go with the sean roe exhaust) ..
Started cleaning the chassis rails while i can get to them and the block....
Soon have her back on the road

Is it worth cleaning the top of the pistons (see above pics)if so what do i use?
Should i oil the bores while the heads are off if so will WD40 do??

Heads are back realy good job as well will take pics tomorrow and post ....
