Viper bites in Belfast

A real-life American mean machine will be roaring into the Charles Hurst Chrysler & Jeep showroom later this month.

The Chrysler Viper GTS coupé will go on display at the new Charles Hurst dealership in Boucher Road from September 17th to 30th, to mark the move to bigger and better premises.

Based on the original Viper RT/10 – the very first model produced– the Viper GTS coupé has been extensively modified and is also some 60lb lighter than its predecessor.

Charles Hurst Sales Manager, Jason Hawthorne, said: “Having such a spectacular piece of Motown muscle on show is bound to draw quite a lot of attention. It’s just a shame we will have to hand it back to its owners at DaimlerChrysler UK.”

The Viper GTS Coupé can sprint to 60mph from rest in little over four seconds, and can go on to achieve more than 170mph. Its monstrous 415bhp engine ensures Viperformance every time.

Charles Hurst Chrysler & Jeep has seen a significant upturn in business since it relocated from Upper Newtownards Road to Boucher Road.

The new showroom displays more than 50 new and used vehicles and has added convenience as it is just a short drive from the M1.

May I enquire why it cant be sold ?, if its been repaired ok then surely they can re-sell it, I'm sure they sold damaged/repaired press/show cars before, if its still got damage that makes it unroadworthy/unsellable why is it been driven around the UK.

Perhaps they should break it up for club spares

It had a chunk cut out of the chassis and a new bit welded in to put it back on the road.....
I was looking at it when mine went in for a service and they said it would only be a demo car..
Cant see why they cant sell it cheap ,sold as seen .

It was lost big time and slammed sideways into a curb, left rear quarter. Yes I think Chrysler should give me the engine, seeing as they screwed mine or rather the journilists did testing max speeds in every gear, standing quater etc on a brand new engine when he was just 2 weeks old!
