Exactly Paul, my thoughts exactly.
Vipers and Evos only have two things in common - look agressive (7 lost some agression from 6 but still had some, 8 looks ugly). And the other aspect is that they both go fast and handle well, and have good aftermarket support (3). A Viper is just as lethal as an Evo in all disciplines (except Viper has more straight line performance). However, that's where the similarity ends, as the Evo is a rally car for the road, and the Viper is a race for the road.
If we are talking about owning an RX7, GT-R or Supra instead, however, then yeah, I wouldn't consider that a downgrade.
P.S. Nad I'm Mosesbro on the lancerregister (not in real life), I posted in those two threads that moses gave links for, and I think you, well your car, is great! And I'm only 17...

Nadine, were u in the Viper that left the petrol station on the way up with all the Skylines? If so I was in the little car with the Martini graphics on, just thought I would say hi again. Hopefully next yr my other car will be back and I will stand a better chance of running away from u lol.

Hmm confusing, people will think your me with "Nad" post name! I'm affraid I can't remember (been KO'd twice, my memorys not good)! I drove up early that Sunday morning (stopping regularly for petrol!) met many nice motors also making their way up to TOTB. As I seem to have showed you my cars rear, can you remember if it had a wing on it, mines the only blue / white stripes with a rear wing? If so, "Hi" again, and if not "Hi" anyway!

All the best with your mods, hey, your car ain't far away from where I work; Norris Designs seem to be the DBs when it comes to playing with Evos! Do they have a rollin' road to tune on up there, and if so what bhp is it rated to take? Go any lighter and you'll need to tie the car down if I fire up anywhere near you!

evening nadine dear, he is the best for it, he is a friend and i was supposed to send my car near winter but me being moses, boosted my car to hell on standard internals and i blew it, a week before i asked mark shead to help me boost it too 1.8 and he said moses u are loosing it .
so i got a transporter to take it down, he doesnt have a rolling rd their he takes it to a dyno or the rolling rd at g force aylesbury luv.
lsr mate u better be scared only if God wills i wont lie and i dont lie mate it is easily 530 but once i do a lil bit more it will be 590
if i get to 1100 kd dead with me in it and fuel its impossible but i will try my best 0 to 60 2.2 or less but 2.6 will be easy and thats no bull, but coz mines a gsr im waiting for a rs setup diffs, driveshafts etc, to handle the power, i wanted a dogbox but i ran out of money, a mate from the philippines sent me a semi seqential as a present i still have to use the clutch with a dogbox i didnt need too, but money is tight , i need to pay the mortgage.

the turbo is off simons evo 7 when he done a quarter in 10.89 secs with 1360 kg weight mines will be well down woohoo

sorry nadine , edited, coz i forgot, i used to have a cbr600 luv in 1995 when i was 18 i sold it in 1997 , i still have some stuff from it, my max biaggi helmet is my fave its a sentimental thing, i sold it after my dad passed away God bless him i luv him to bits, i needed to save the busines and with the grace of God i did, then when i saved up money i wanted a r1 but i bought my lifelong dream an evo, i just couldnt get the insurance, eventually i did

Moses you are more than mad! Offering me take your motor for a spin!!! Thank you kindly, but many that know me would advice you wisely to take that offer back faster than your Evo can run to 60! No one drives or touches my Beloved so it wouldn't be fair for me to drive others; and I'd feel I was being unfaithful to Viper.
