Hardbar Gear Knob

Seeing the TOTB2 write-up in Redline magazine reminded me that Nadine was asking about the lightweight gear knob I was using. It's made out of Delrin by a company called Hardbar, the item is at:

I think the web site is out of date as a couple of months ago I saw that they'd created two more knobs, one was a larger diameter for those with bigger hands and the other with three rubber inserts for better grip. Although I've not experienced slipping hands at other track days I did at Elvington so if I was buying again I'd probably go for the one with the rubber inserts.
Although they claim it only fits C5s I wouldn't be surprised if they were interchangeable with a number of other cars. I'm sure Jan & Nigel can tell you whether the Corvette and Viper knobs are interchangeable.
