It wasn't me, but I did pass it when it was heading northbound on the M23 coming out of Crawley. By an amazing coincidence I was in my Viper heading southbound and had just commented that I hadn't seen many other 'toy cars' out that day... In all my years driving i've only ever seen one other Viper outside of events and to pass another the same colour as mine whilst driving mine was quite a moment!

Could have been the Essex based, (destroyed in the states, rebuilt and shipped to the UK), one?
Or Leo maybe?

I really don't recall the wheels as I only just saw it as it passed me because it was in the inside lane and the traffic was quite heavy (and of course I was concentrating on the road...). The only memorable thing is the orange sun stripe.

I refuse to believe that Tom would put a pinky orange sunstrip on his car!

CORRECT DAVE!
Venom 500 is off the axle stands (been resting its legs since Sept) and has had a trip around the field, followed by a few doughnuts (one of the joys of having a bit of space) and is now currently residing back in the barn/garage. It will be taking a trip later in the year! To worcester on a trailer as my garage needs pulling down and is to damp for the Venom (plus its keeps having parts eaten!). Back out to play with it next year I hope.
By the way Roffey corner is only just up the road from where I used to live!
