Has anyone got any 'hot tips' on "best buys" for tyres and how does that match with the following?

http://www.bestbuytyres.co.uk/

Rear - £347 each inc VAT & fitting.
Front - £293 each inc VAT & fitting.

Total - £1280 cry

BBT use "only leading independent tyre specialists to fit your tyres." Ummmm.......scratchchin

Any thoughts?

I got 4 x Michelin Pilot Sport 2's from Costco for ~£800 last year during one of their '20% off 4 tyres deal'

Worth checking their prices even without the voucher and the fitting centre in Milton Keynes was excellent.

Wow - that is good.
Even without 20% discount, it's better than BBT.

I also need a front set of PS2's (17") and the best price I have found so far is from Mytyres.co.uk at £260 a tyre (not fitted but delivered) They also assure me that they only sell tyres with a maximum DOT code age of 1 year. Its kind of annoying when they are $290 each on tirerack.com...

Just bought a set for the Mamba had to pay before fitting as the 19" PS2 non run flats seen very rare and another tyre dealer was trying to nick them off my centre paid £1386 including fitting all four and a balance.

Now when Chuck gets me four new snesors I can get them fitted as I have a dodgy (pun intended) battery in one wheel and they are 4-5 years old.

For other SRT/10 owners I have also purchased a tyre scan and set up tool so I can set up the tyre system on the SRT/10 open for club use but at £400 quid you bring the car to me.

Just contacted my local indpendant Tyre dealer for a qoute on a pair of 335-30 ZR18s, he made a couple of calls and was informed that mitchlen PS2s are no longer being made? I was offered Prelli P zero rossos at £331 each inc fitting etc? So just went on the Mitchelin web site and they recommend Pilot Sport tyres! So whats going on? I also searched out the Costco site, it seems you cant get the prices online, so IF.....Anybody out there has a costco card, would it be possable to find out how much a pair of the above tyres would be? Various Tyre size, Group buy?

My last Michelin PS2 rear tyres (about 2 months ago) cost me just under £300 each all in including fitting & balancing.
Bought it from Supertyres of Maldon, Essex. Tel: 01621 850270. They have excellent service including a great coffee room with Top Gear videos running most of the time.

They also have no problems fitting the widest of tyres.

I contacted Costco today phone (Reading) are you sitting down ....
£1268 less £40 if you buy a complete set of PS2s! "No special offers today sir." curse
I'm not a Trader so that's a general public price of course.
But love the idea of bulk buying.
