finally got around this afternoon to cleaning up the engine lettering first time since owning the car, it had gone really dull, a bit of elbow grease...and back to shiny silver for a while at least

nice,i have me eye on some stainless letters from the viper store.me other eye is looking
at all the other stuff they do.

Looking good Neil, unfortunately it doesn't last very long. I can't remember when I did mine, but I think it was about a year ago, and they are already going grey again... frown

less elegant, more effective.
Never turning grey again smile

To polish the letters without touching the stock red surrounding, I always took smoothest sandpaper shrouded in a flat block. Looks good, too!
