Switches also go bad changed mine in the GTS can be got from Chrysler as its the same as some Jeeps Neon etc, but as Neil explained the loom also fails.

And while your in there alwasy grease the door stay springs behind the panel in front of the main door, they have a common habit of breaking off the lip so the door wont stay open and its a new door hinge and a bit of a bu**er to set up, they normally break as they rust through.

Make sure you check the wiring thoroughly, when i had no locks i looked at the wiring and it looked in a1 condition, but the break is usually deep in the rubber tube so unless you pull on each wire individually you can miss it real easy and then spend hours dismantling the doors etc, only to come back to the wiring and look harder and find three broken wires.

As Neil says though and i cant recall for certain if its windows or speakers but the wiring goes all around the houses so the break can be in either door.

Well I had a go at checking the wires between bulkhead and drivers door today! Found a broken Brown wire! Re-joined it still no diffrence, so no idea what the brown wire was working confused All the others look ok on the outside! Any idea which colour wires go to the window motor on a 2000 GTS? How do you remove the door panel? whats the proceedure?

I know this is a bit of a long shot but have you checked fuses?
I've looked at my service manual (96 GTS) and it gives several tips including fuses, window circuit breaker and grounding point - a Brown wire is identified on the passenger side window motor.
My drivers window is also playing up - the motor mechanism (gears, pulleys, cables etc) is worn and can't move the window! I've got it on the workbench but it doesn't look refurbishable.
