If anyone's looking to buy one, I drove one through the auction for the second time today and it still didn't meet its reserve price so no doubt it'll be in again soon.
Red, LHD, '04 reg, V10, 8.3l, drove well but niggling electrical probs.
I'll gladly get more details if anyone's interested.

I wasn't sure if there'd be any interest so I didn't record any details.
Basically, BCA staff point; we get in and drive, park, get out and walk to the next car.
Top bid each time was around £32,000 and the reserve was, I believe, £39,000.

AsI said, if anyone is seriously interested I can find out when it's due next in a sale. If it has markings to indicate a particular model I can look for them but I'm no expert in these cars.

Thanks for the info mate, but if it's the car we think it is, you'll find that everyone here will be doing everything they can to steer anyone who may be interested well away from it...

Where was the auction? Do you have any details on the seller?

Er just cos its got 04 on the plate dont mean shcensoredt, Like the guy said he just moves these cars around, and as for some of the crap we have all seen comming over from the US from certan sellers, the car may have a later engine! It might be a Gen1 front and a Gen3 rear, if you know who has anything to do with it hehe Right come on then, lets have a laugh.....Whats the VIN N0?

I'm afraid it shows how little time we have to admire the outside of the cars we drive: '06, not '04 and it's a convertible.

Looked fine in the flesh. Combination of bright sunlight, crappy fluorescent lights and feeble phone camera.
So, what model is it, you experts/owners?

If I get chance on Monday, I'll have a look. I assumed it would be under the bonnet so I didn't think to check for it.
Electrical faults: driver's window worked from centre console but not from the door, neither remote control (central locking or alarm) seemed to work.
I assume it must be an import. If it was imported new and genuinely 2 years old, could it be worth the £39,000 reserve?

The only other one I've driven was 18 months ago, at a classic car sale.

I don't suppose anyone on here owns it now?
