We’re not sure how long this has been kicking around, but if you haven’t seen it this downloadable guide to the Nurburgring could be pretty useful.
It has been produced by BMW and is one of the most complete guides to the ‘Ring we have seen.
There is a bend-by-bend analysis, professional tips and bags of other facts about the legendary circuit.
And the best bit? It’s free of course. There is easy to read instructions of what lines to take through the twisties, with diagrams to go with it.
It tells you the best locations for gear changes and braking zones, and best entry and exit speeds to attack each corner.
If you are going to the ‘Ring for the first time it is certainly worth a look.

the pdf has been around for a while, its worth a look as Dave puts it, but not much use to the novice me thinks even if you study hard by the second bend youll of forgotten everything and just be hanging on for the next 13 miles
what you cant prepare for is the mind boggling changes in altitude thats what first shocked me, 1000ft difference between the lowest and highest part of the track, so your either constantly climbing or descending and hardly never are on the 'flat'
there's tons of vides on utube and you just cant see this at all
