Hi

Is there a relay for each door switch, and if so where are they located.

Thanks

I don't think so but i don't have the service manual to hand at the moment to check for sure.

If your door popper isn't working its more than likely a break in the wiring harness between the door and the body. there is a post on the VCA about fixing it if that's your problem.

Thanks for the info everyone
However the wires are intact in both doors, when I press the switch i hear a noise similar to that of a relay noise.
Any other suggestions greatly appreciated.
Thanks

The noise appears to be coming from behind the dash somewhere when I press the door switch

On my 96, door latch switches input to the RKE module (Remote Keyless Entry) which is part of the EES (Electronic Entry System) which is in the drivers’ foot-well.

The EES is probably loaded with relays, solid state and/or laddic.

Not sure this solves your problem but at least it answers your first question. thumbup
