Germany Trip... Helmets?

Presumably helmets will be required for the Germany trip, specifically on the Saturday, I've never bought one for this type of thing, anything specific I should be looking for? Fit? Type? Make? Regulations?

Frankly I don't want to have to spend too much on it, but on the other hand it would be pretty handy if it keeps my head in one piece during a worse case scenario...

I always like an open face in a closed car, I know your Viper is not fully closed but I found full face helmets very restrictive.

I have this one and it highly recommended by me its light and comfortable, if it was me though I would take a trip to a Motorsport specialist and try a few on, just my 10 cents.

If you only want the helmet for the weekend Dave, Ive got a brand new black helmet ( open Face ) you could borrow

Thanks for the offer Mark, I've got it in my head to buy myself one as will need it for a couple of events this year, and want to make sure it fits properly. Did a bit of research yesterday and found out a little more about regulations etc, so have a clearer idea of what I want now, just need to look at costs. Thanks anyway mate.

If I were you, I would look at seeing when the next motorcycle show is on, you will get great deals on Helmets then

It's got a built in intercom system... I don't suppose it'll ever get used, but it's in there.

Having returned from a 2500 mile trip to LeMans, Switzerland, and the Black Forest I can't wait to get back out there to those smooth empty roads. Roll on August.
