Yep thought they were taking the 'P' now sending me Viper magazine but guess what 2 days after I posted the box that arriived I come home and there's mine sitting on the table in a bag.

Think the expression is couldn't organise a drink up in a brewery.

However at last I have some spares so if you would like to sample the mag then PM me and I will send you a free copy.

Two for me. This will really upset the Americans, they get upset enough when we get the mag first let alone two copies when some of them cant even get one.

Two here too... Can't complain about that though! Haven't had a chance to look at it yet, but hopefully the centre poster will be a good one for the garage wall this month... I haven't got it in me to start ripping pages out usually!

Well guess what came through the door a couple of days ago.... Yep, another Viper mag! This time posted from sweden? I also got my Venom membership package through today!! 1 Plastic membership card, 1 small VCA 2008 Sticker and 3, A4 bits of paper! Now I know we get a glossy printed magazine but... Is that it!

Being a member of the Harley Owners Group the membership stuff you get from them every year is great. Brakedown recovery, email magazine, Glossy magazine, membership card, metal pin badges, cloth patch, and world atlas with every Harley Dealership included! You get all the above every time you renew your membership!

So 1 plastic membership card and a glossy mag from an exclusive car club, to me seems pretty pathetic

personally im only interested in the mags (about £8 each) which covers the cost of membership, youll also get another mag 'Viper Notes' in between, so a total of eight in the year. Sounds like you missed out on the 4" metal badge included with this years membership

in the old days i received a few big posters, keyrings and such like, but not any more

more importantly the membership will get you discount off the vendors, which can easily cover your membership costs on one purchase, other things like VOI, raffles, private members forum on the VCA with monthly prizes, ask Baz ! lucky git

for just £30 per year can you really complain?

Yes. To be honnest if the latest Viper mag was on the shelf of my local news agent, chances are at £8.00 I would not buy it. I know Ive only got my 1st issue but there wasnt much in there I found interesting. If your talking value for money personally I would buy Road n Track or classic american!

one big + for my membership is getting my insurance! think my fee was £23 and as i took it out last september for 2008, they sent the mag from 2007's last 1/4 for free.

think i'll bin Tiger club membership this year tho... 2 mags for £30... and a forum full of tumbleweed - shame considering there's 300+ uk members out there.
