I had a new rear tyre fitted yesterday and somewhere between the fitters and my house I lost the centre sneaky Pete cap off a set of 3 spoke Gen I wheels. I've been back and retraced my steps a couple of times but cannot find it.

Does anyone have a good condition one which is surplus to their requirements?

Thanks

I'm afraid I can't help, as such, Nigel, but I did get a couple of spares for my 97 wheels from Paul Scharf at a good price, I would suggest sending him an email/give him a call:

Tel: 0017154798597

email: paul@donscharfautomotive.com

He's a good guy and easy to deal with, pay via Paypal too, which makes things nice and easy...

Second that, although he did send my gen 3 caps to Vanuatu, but no problem sorting it out and sending a different set once we realised they were actually on the slow boat to china rather than just seeming like it.

PV,

I don't know if Gen II differ.
Could you bring one along to Fancott at the weekend and we can see?

Thanks

Nigel, I think you'll find that the actual part is much the same, but the finish is completely different, as GenI were powder coated grey and the GenII five spokes were either painted or polished silver.

Thanks guys - as suggested I've emailed Paul Scharf to see if he has one.

I'll borrow one off Bluf for the Fancott meet on Sunday.

Should be fun, 100 mph winds and rain predicted - but think about what the top speed would be if we get a tail wind!
