Hi Mike, did it look like this one? wink

Only had a call about this PH Cheddar meet the day before (was in the middle of house moving, needed a little time out) was a fun meet, good turnout of cars. Diablo behind Pete's RT, Pete put the black stripes on himself, and a fine job he made of it, looks awesome. And yes...keep your eyes open...blink, and you'll miss the blue white ones cool

I got the call the day before too, bit short notice for me unfortunately... I really must get round to posting up the pics of the day we started the stripes on Pete's car... His technique for reaching the back of the hood was questionable... biggrin

I'll be back with the pics shortly... ... ... ... ... (Nips off to Photobucket)

I'm Back! For those of a nervous disposition... there's some pretty dodgy shorts and legs in the following photos...

eek Yes... He is stood where you think he's stood... Pete was adamant that it would be fine!
(Just to clarify, as photos are removed... He was stood on the intake manifold)

:Photo's removed at the request of ZedSump... There were concerns about the affect that photos of his legs might have on the sanity of an already fragile world:

Hood finished:

What a Faff of a job it was! I'm SO glad mine were already painted on... We only got as far as the hood that day, the lord only knows how he managed the front fascia and the trunk sections on his own... thumbup Well done mate!

hehe..! just to note when ur only 60kg like me (can almost fly!), perching on a 300kgish block can't be too bad!
shame i didn't know about you Mike and sorry word didn't go out til late about this event...this is my first home www action for 3 wks... just rebooted the box, losing everything and installed talk talk's 2nd modem in a week.... :s
twas good day - were first ones there with steve c's mustang and m3mth's race kitted 205. got very noisy when the TVR swarms turned up + monaros, eliseseses, the diablo, and of course the s/c twin (nice burn-out at the end B!...tried to copy - well i thought my tracks were just as good.... new wheels soon and plenty of tread to lose on my current factory fits!)

Zedee... when your Mum said here's some shorts for the car, she ment to use as rag, not to wear yourself when working on your cars wink Besides you never know when some kind soul might just happen to have a camera handy when your not in the best of poses, baggy shorts would of been a no no here!

Yes, intake manifolds can be perched on, sc provides a good kneeling place
yikes
