price question for those who have imported ??

HI ALL
I think i have done my homework but its always nice to get another point of view , im nearly in a position to go hunting for my first viper , but with regards to what i would pay for , could someone please cast an eye over this to see if im missing anything ??
what i would need to spend ?
1) purchase price
2) 10% tax
3) shipping cost
4) 17.5% vat on (total purchase price and tax)
5) sva test/mot
6) lots of spare cash to put in the fuel tank !!!

is there anything else i should be aware of ?

I know some of the guys have used a company called Kingstown shipping, you could give them a call and all will be explained! or you can get a qoute from HM REVENUE & CUSTOMS 0845 010 9000

1)purchase price and fees to get it onboard
2)shipping cost and insurance
3)10% import duty on the total cost of the above (1 and 2)
4)17.5% VAT on the total of 1,2 and 3
5)customs fees
6)shipping agents fees (if appliciable)
7)any modifications for SVA
8)SVA / MOT type stuff, whatever's applicable to vipers
9)registration
10) fuel, lots and lots of fuel.

That should pretty much cover it I think, might be a little rusty though.

If your viper is 10yrs old or more no SVA needed....

make sure you get a US carfax report before you buy, its like our HPI

And also if you can.. get a friendly dodge dealer to run it through the Dodge computer for recals and such....
