See the new Neesan GT-R in action - faster that a Zee06 and Viper (except in the slalom test where the Viper is quicker!)
Nice to see them still using a Viper as the 'standard' super car to beat

I still find it disgusting that Nissan can afford to sell it for $70k (£35k) in the USA but they are predicting a £60k price tag in the UK. Normally they cite converting to right hand drive as a large factor, but the GT-R is natively right hand drive so they have to convert it for the US! Apparently it has more safety features in the UK - must be a gold plated roll cage or something!
i have had 2 of the earlier cars ( gtr 33 vpec and gtr34 vpec )
both tuned to approx 400 bhp and nothing locally other than superbikes were a problem.
these are fantastic cars and if the new one is any better i can't wait.
i would never buy a new one due to the initial depreciation.
the price sounds about right as my last one was 54k when new in 2000.i paid 40k for a year old one with 4,500 miles and sold it nearly 2 years later for 38k.
not bad,2k loss in nearly 2 years.
