Pistonheads/Autosport Show 12th & 13th January 2008
Discussion
Hi RT/10 Dave. You don't have an SRT-10 by any chance do you? I'm desperately trying to get one for the show. If you have one and are keen to put it on display (you also get 2 free tickets as an exhibitor) please drop me a line on showyourcar@pistonheads.com
Cheers

I'll be there on Sat, primarily (with a friend) with a view to bidding on the RT/10 that Coys are auctioning.
(And who knows - there may be something that catches my eye also )

Ah, she makes an appearance yet again... Will anyone ever actually own this car...?
It's always appeared to be a very clean car... (Subject to HPI & Carfax... )
Hope all goes well Andy! There has been several threads surrounding this car over the last year.
Edited to add: Including this thread, which you started... http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&t=467244
(Bit of extra info on there)

Im guessing the interior colour has held it back from selling, quite a small market for the connelly, i recommend your friend see's it in person as its not to everyones taste. Andy I should be able to get some pics and have a quick look around it before the show opens to the trade if that will help you out

seeing it in pics and close-up are two different things, not really shown in the pics the carpeting is also the same colour, i reckon most current owners here wouldnt choose it
not my style but each to their own and i bet some even love it !

My thoughts (and friends) exactly - on the colour. More so the interior than exterior. Would be much more attractive with a black, or even the grey interior. But, the price is also attractive. (Maybe). Have to see how the auction goes.Edited by Viper on Wednesday 2nd January 16:05
Thanks for the offer of the pics, but we'll be going along anyway. As I said, see how the auction goes, and there's all the other stuff being auctioned and the show going on at the same time, so plenty to do and see.
Don't suppose anyone knows, but will I have to pay the show entrance fee, AND the Coys auction catalogue fee ?

I bought a Mustang with a beige leather interior, despite not liking it. The price was right, and yes, actually seeing it live is different from a pic.not my style but each to their own and i bet some even love it !
in previous years the Coy catalogue isnt included with the show entrance fee, its pricey this year with a £7 parking fee as well
this isnt no beige interior it would be so expensive to swap for black, maybe dying the OE colour is an option
remember you really need to allow for new tyres (as it was still on the originals) all round, and probably a hardtop at some stage
to allow for all the above you need to be getting it for less than £20K to make it a bargain
