I'm looking to have some engine mods on a Ram SRT10 from Hennessey in Texas. Has anyone had any experience with them and can give me some advice. I'm looking for a stage 1 600hp as I want to also use it for towing.

all feedback welcome. John Hennessey seems like a great guy from the little I've dealt with him.

many thanks

welcome

But I suggest you get over to the VCA board, I think after about 5 years now you are allowed to post his name again without it being censored.

From what i can tell, great work and magic with vipers, but you best be resident in Texas and packing

From what I've heard he ripped a lot of people off, when unhappy customers turned up at his place he had guys point guns and escort them off his pad. He can build amazing, big HP cars, gets mag cover shots. He's dealt with several UK companies, had them making him parts, owed money to them, again, just what I heard. Nad helped out I think with wiring loom solutions for his ECUs in conjunction with a London company, he rang her in the middle of the night, promised things in return (car parts!) she never saw. Just be warned!

thanks that's really helpful. all sounds a bit much! not sure I fancy pistols at dawn. may be the wild west isn't dead after all.

I'll check out Roe Racing - I was also going to use Hennessey to modify a Ford GT. Any suggestions on alternative tuners?

Do not go anywhere near Hennessey in my opinion. His normal modus operandi is producing great cars for shows, mags etc but if the car is going abroad it will either never get finished or be very shoddily carried out. I know from personal experience on a twin turbo SRT 10 that took £18k of work once it got here to make it right. It is now perfect but God what a journey!!!!

Go to Google.com and type in: jason heffner performance
or jason heffner ford gt

He has an excellent reputation for Viper and Ford GT modifications as posted on several forums that I follow. I have never read anything negative, and always glowing positives. I am only going by what others have posted.
