Viper SRT/10 or Viper GT2 Not sure which yet but looking forward to meeting interesting people, last year one of my rides went home saved all his pennies and is now a proud Viper owner.

Never actually been to this event. What's the drill? As there will be a good representation from the Viper crew, I could bring the Corvette Z06 Le Mans, particularly as I am a Sporting Bear myself these days.

Phil you'll have to be there and suffer Paul's flashing lights like the rest of us (wish he'd get the wiring sorted) wink

Thanks for the offer follow links from this Sporting Bears Dream Rides - what's it all about and complete drivers form and post to Mick Bryan as well let him known you're attending

If you've got a spare 6"X4" photo of your car send that too

If you need any more info or help just PM or ask Paul as for some reason he's usually popular

If you don't mind would you also add your name to this PH Calendar for the event

Thank you, see you there thumbup

Sorry Chris I'm a bit confused with this so if I've not answered below ask again please

We ask the drivers to do a minimum of four rides a day

We ask the passengers for a fixed donation dependant on the car - all available cars will be display on a board with their donation figure clearly marked

The donation usually start from £10 going up to . . . well that depends on the top exotics avaiable, the donation is per car (not per seat)

ETA: spelling

We had a Carrera GT and Enzo on our static stand and offering track rides last year!

Enzo and Veyron on the roads - a bit doubtful but who knows, if the owners weren't playing footsie with the TV "stars" displays or lining the corridor to the other show smile

IIRC it was three laps round Silverstone or appropriate curcuit for a donation of £100 for 20 rides, the rides were snapped up so quickly in the first morning that the owner offered to do more, I think 103 rides in the end as £10,300 was raised

Sounds cool. When will we know if the Enzo is taking part this time? And is there any chance of pre-booking it?

Blimey Chris you're as keen as a teenager

I doubt that the Enzo's taking part this time

We never pre-book rides until the car has arrived and booked in as the cars may not be attend or do the rides for many reasons

We have regulars that rush to the booking desk to get their favourite or new rides each year

Hi Sporting Bear,

Been away on safari in Kenya / Tanzania so that's why it's been a bit quiet from us.

Yes Mary & I will be bringing Bling for the Dream Rides and I'm sure Mary will help out on the desk with Porn Star.

We'll be doing Saturday & Sunday - and we'll take on Andy anytime! More importantly Paul will be trying to make sure he gets more rides in the Mamba or Justin than I get in Bling following Dream rides at Kimbolton.

Let's hope the weather stays fine - see you at the NEC.

Nigel.
