Ok... Hopefully someone will be able to explain this for me... because the more I look at it the more confused I'm getting... But, how the hell is that contraption at the back of the rolling road, (with the straps looking like they are going in the wrong direction for physics), holding our cars on that machine!???

My brain is saying that if the car moves forward the straps will go loose and the whole thing will move straight ahead???
I'm probably missing something, but would really appreciate it if someone could explain it...
Edited to add... I think I might have figured it out...
I'm assuming that the bar is bolted to the rolling road, the blue strap goes to the car, and the orange straps hold the bar down from lifting if the car moves... seems like quite a thin bar for something like that, but I guess the car is probably not putting that much force against it being in a stationary position so is unlikely to bend it...
