Any of you guys have a smallish garage???? The reason why I ask is my garage door is only 210cm wide and an RT/10 according to the book is 192cm wide and I am not sure if that includes the wing mirrors or not. The annoying thing is my garage is 250cm wide when I am in so plenty of room there (supra doors are the same length and I can open it around enough to get out).

A while ago (before I moved house) I had exactly the same problem/ query. Luckily, I could measure the car before putting it in a new garage though....Not to worry, the mirors swivvel & twist upwards, which means that the car is then no wider than the rear arches, or the sills. Then all you have to do is get out of the car, made even easier by storing with the roof off, and clinming out over the rear arch. Whatever you do, don't put too much weight on the boot lid (nay trunk hatch!)- it may be prone to cracking under undue pressure or weight, and then you really will have a problem!
The exact size of my 94 RT/10 is 204.5 in long, and 72.5 in wide.

the supra doors maybe the same length but the design of the viper, the doors are about 300mm thick, which menas you need at least 700mm to be able to squeeze out

is your drive flat? you can always push the car in/out

Neil, being selfish & not wishing to rub salt into the wounds of the OP, my car is now stored in a place where you can fit 40 cars, with doors big enough to get a combine harvester through.......however, 4 months ago, twas a very different story.

Ah my drive is indeed flat could creat a kind of winch system (that would make the people in the close take a double look lol). Forgot that the doors would be wide the supra doors are around half that and even then its a struggle to get out even with the window down (they curve inwards). Good news on the mirrors though, all is not lost lol.

open the drivers door, lean out and line up, drive in as far as possible (upto the drivers door) then you only have push half the car in,

if you cant push from the front to get the car out you can pull on the rear towing eye, if you have one

the mirrors arent any wider than the rear arches of the car which is the widest point, so there's no need really to fold them in
