Right doing a bit of math and providing I can get an early RT/10 for $25,000 it would cost the following

$25,000

Shipping to the UK

$1200

VAT

£2187.50

Duty

£1250

SVA test with mods to lights

£500 ish?

Total £17,217

Obviously a nice 2 week holiday to the states as well for me and the misses to purchase car and to drive about for a few days site seeing before it gets picked up to be shipped.

Does that sound about right? If so supra may well go up for sale next summer And will get Viper when I hit 25, 24 in 4 mths so insurance might be a little steep.

Without doing the math, you seem to have all the relevant points in place...

I was taking depreciation into account They seem to be going for any where between 30-50 on the US clubs

lights mods = less than £20
UK reg = £50
many wouldn't insure me at less than age 30... (still another 9mths

Cheers guys it sounds good! I dont see why they wouldnt insure me all the things are the same as my supra
